Boarding
Boarding For Dogs
Our indoor boarding facility for dogs has 14 runs that have rubberized flooring with
in-floor heat, and windows for exposure to natural lighting and fresh air. Our boarding dogs are given a blanket and fed Science Diet Sensitive Stomach dry food. You are welcome to bring in accessories for your pet while they are staying with us, including their bedding, toys, food, etc.
Our Outdoor Play Area
In addition to leash walks, our boarding dogs are allowed to have independent play time in our outdoor pens. This gives them the opportunity to get more exercise and spend time enjoying the nice weather outside instead of being confined to a kennel inside. You can request additional play time if you would like one of our staff members to spend extra time with your dogs playing fetch or Frisbee. We also offer “doggie day care” boarding if you would like your pet to hang out with us on a daily basis.
Our Boarding Regulations for Dogs
At Cedar Creek Animal Clinic we strive to provide the best animal health care available. In order to provide a safe and fun environment for your pets while they are staying with us we must enforce regulations to keep your pet, other guests and our staff safe.
All guests must have proof of or be current on all required vaccinations; have had a fecal examination within the past year; and be free of fleas, ticks and intestinal parasites; or they will be treated upon admission to our facility at the owner’s expense.
Vaccinations required include: Rabies, DHPP or DHLPP, and Bordetella. We also strongly recommend vaccinating for Canine Influenza H3N8.
If medications are necessary for treatment or handling while your pet is staying with us, you give permission for Cedar Creek Animal Clinic Veterinarians to prescribe medications or Cedar Creek Animal Clinic staff members to administer medications as directed.
You have left us with an emergency contact and authorize Cedar Creek Animal Clinic to do whatever is necessary in case of illness or an emergency situation.
Our boarding charges are applied by the calendar day per dog. Regardless of the time they are dropped off or picked up, they are still charged for a full day.
You may bring accessories for your pet to use while they are staying with us; however if they have been damaged or found to be dangerous, we will remove them from their kennel. Please be aware that your pet may damage their accessories and they may not go home in the same condition they were left in. Cedar Creek Animal Clinic is not responsible for any damages incurred on accessories.
Arrangements need to be made when making a reservation or dropping your pet off at our facility for any grooming services you would like performed on your pet while they are staying with us. We will ask for a specific pick up time so that we make sure that everything has been completed as requested. Please note that our bathing prices are reduced for boarding guests.
Arrangements can also be made for an after hours drop off or pick up. These need to be made when making your boarding reservation and we will require a specific time for you to drop your pet off or pick them up. An additional charge will be applied for this service.
If your pet is found to be aggressive and dangerous to our staff or other animals and/or needs to be separated from the general population and put in quarantine, we may dismiss them from boarding at our facility and apply additional handling charges.
All reasonable precautions will be used to prevent injury and escape of your pet. Cedar Creek Animal Clinic is not responsible for the actions of the pet that may cause injury or escape.
All charges incurred must be paid in full when the pet is discharged from our boarding facility.
Boarding For Cats
Our boarding facility for cats features 4 kitty condos that have a hidden cubby hole area, a perch, doors to share 2 or 4 rooms and removable floor panels to share 2 or 4 rooms. There is a window for natural lighting. Cats are exercised in one of our exam rooms twice a day. We provide Science Diet Sensitive Stomach dry cat food, or you can bring in their own food and accessories, such as toys or bedding, to keep your kitty comfortable during their stay.
