Take Me Home... Balthazar needs a home…. He is a very gentle cat and loves being held, etc. He was a stray in St. Charles and the staff at the medical clinic started feeding him when the clinic was open. Last summer, someone in town shot him in the head with an arrow and he has a scar under the fur on the top of his head. Fortunately, the arrow only lodged under the skin and didn’t penetrate his skull. One of the clinic staff took him to a vet to have it removed. During the week of Christmas, when the clinic was closed, he started coming to our house a few blocks away to eat and I took him to Cedar Creek Animal Clinic where he was neutered, vaccinated, etc. He tested positive for FIV, but is doing great now and we think he would be just fine in a good indoor home where he would get lots of love and attention. We think he would do equally well in a home where he was the only cat or in one with other FIV positive cats. PLEASE LET ONE OF OUR STAFF MEMBERS KNOW IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN GIVING BALTHAZAR A LOVING HOME. I have tested negative for Feline Leukemia and FIV, been treated for intestinal and external parasites, been neutered and vaccinated. I am approximately 1 and 1/2 years old. I am very friendly and would make a wonderful addition to your home! Please let one of our staff members know if you can find me a home!
